To the outside world, the little girl being pushed along the street in a buggy is just another toddler. But Girija Srinivas is actually 19 years old and trapped in a two-year-old’s body.

Girija’s congenital agenesis means her limbs have failed to develop fully, leaving her just two-and-a-half feet in height and weighing 12kg.
She cannot stand or sit up and relies on her mother to care for her.
But despite her disadvantages, the 19-year-old is determined to achieve independence and be successful. She has embarked on a career as an artist, and makes between 8,000 and 10,000 rupees (£86-£108) a month by selling her drawings.
